Katerina Garcia – Bio

Katerina García is a Hispanist, with special interest in Judeo-Spanish linguistics, literature and culture. She lectures in the Department of Hispanic Studies, Trinity College Dublin. In addition, she is an active singer, and performs regularly with musicians and bands across musical genres both in Ireland and the Czech Republic. Her latest released album, Kon Sira: Songs from the Sephardic Tradition (Good Day Records, 2013), features a selection of traditional Sephardic song material co-arranged by fellow Folk, Bluegrass and Jazz musicians.
