of the International Council for Traditional Music

ISSN   2009-4094

Ethnomusicology Ireland is a fully peer-reviewed online journal for research on music in its social and cultural context. Although it serves primarily as a forum for the research community based in Ireland, it welcomes submissions from all other locations and relevant disciplines. It is published annually and is produced by an editorial team working under the Irish national committee of the ICTM.

Submissions, in the form of 200 word abstracts or complete articles, should be addressed to the editors at ethnomusicologyireland@operamail.com

For consideration for inclusion in the next edition, complete articles must be submitted for review by 1st July of each calendar year. Ethnomusicology Ireland welcomes articles that are supplemented with multimedia materials.

Books, disks and events for review in the journal should be submitted to meabh.nifhuarthain@nuigalway.ie

Our style guide for accepted articles can be  downloaded here.

The views and opinions expressed herein are those of the individual author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the policies or opinions of the Yearbook, its editors and staff, or the International Council for Traditional Music.
